Use in Pregnancy: There is limited information on the use of buclizine hydrochloride in pregnant women. In one study, buclizine administered at doses above the human therapeutic range induced fetal abnormalities in rats. Clinical data are not adequate to establish safety during pregnancy.
Use in Lactation: Buclizine hydrochloride may be excreted in breast milk. Therefore, do not administer to breastfeeding women, unless, in the opinion of a physician, the potential benefits justify the possible risk to the baby.
